Introduction
This course aims to introduce kids to computer programming using Python giving your kids a huge advantage in a highly Technological World.
Goal
- Coding their own apps and games in Python 3.7
- Drawing shapes and coloring using Turtle graphics in Python
- Build interactive apps that respond to user input and mouse clicks
- Create fun, playable games like Tic-tac-toe and Rock-Paper-Scissors
- Master variables, loops and functions in preparation for more advanced programming courses
- Doing your Math homework with Python
- Create music by coming up with funky music beats using Sonic Pi
Details
This course aims to introduce kids to computer programming using Python giving your kids a huge advantage in a highly Technological World. Our Step-by-step explanations will have kids learning computational thinking right away, while visual and game-oriented examples hold their attention. Friendly introductions to fundamental programming concepts such as variables, loops, and functions will help even the youngest programmers build the skills they need to make their own cool games and applications. Coding is just another language, and children are known to learn new languages faster than older people. So starting young is a good idea.
